Alison is an experienced charity fundraising specialist and philanthropy adviser. As an independent consultant she has worked with more than 40 charities in the social welfare, heritage and arts sectors.
A member of the Institute of Fundraising, Alison was formerly Head of Fundraising at the University of Gloucestershire. She has also worked with FTSE 100 companies at the International Business Leaders Forum and as a major gift fundraiser at the University of Bristol. She is volunteer trustee for the Triangle Trust.
Michael is a development lawyer and a partner of DAC Beachcroft LLP where he is Head of Real Estate and a member of the firm’s Executive Board. He is a member of the St Monica Council and chairs the Project Board for the proposed St Mary Redcliffe development.
He has been a governor of Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital and Colston Girls’ School and a trustee of Bristol Zoo, the Tobacco Factory Arts Trust and Clifton RFC. He is also a former President of Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Initiative, the Canynges Society and the Anchor Society. He was High Sheriff of Bristol in 2014/15.
Zoe was Head of Colleague and Community Engagement at Nisbets Plc. She is passionate about people and local communities. Zoe has worked for Nisbets for over 10 years and has built excellent relationships with colleagues, local schools, local community and charitable sectors across the City. She has been heavily involved with volunteering projects in the local community which reinforces Nisbets’ values, “Integrity, Service, Innovate and Enjoy”.
Trustee and Chair
Anne is a Director of Key West Holdings. She has been a Director of Nisbets Plc since 1991 and founded the company’s charitable arm, Nisbets in the Community (NIC), through which the company and its staff support good causes locally and nationally.
Passionate about charitable causes in Greater Bristol, Anne is active in a number of local organisations through the Trust.
Rose is a ceramicist, textile designer and screen print artist. After graduating from University of the Arts in London in 2014, Rose set up her own studio in Bristol working alongside four other artists.
Andrew is a Director of Key West Holdings, a family-owned business which holds the Nisbet family’s investments in Nisbets Plc, the UK’s leading catering equipment supplier, and kitchen equipment hire firm Jongor. Key West Holdings also invests in commercial property in the UK.
Joe is Managing Director of Jongor, the UK’s leading catering and equipment hire company, with offices in Bristol and London. Jongor is the UK’s only true one-stop-shop for event catering equipment, including tableware, kitchen equipment, furniture and cold rooms.
